Cristy's School Supply Fund operates to help supply teachers with necessary tools for improving the classroom experience for students. Through the generous support of friends and family throughout the community, the Fund commemorates the legacy and generous spirit of Cristy, a passionate teacher who enjoyed extending herself above and beyond for her students until she passed away in a car accident. In the past we have donated items including rugs, books for classroom libraries, decorations for the classroom, and much more.
 
In addition to donations for teachers, the Fund has expanded to help students in need with supplies, uniforms, backpacks, even shoes and toiletries. Every year the Fund collects and purchases items to fill as many backpacks as possible, with over 900 bags stuffed in 2023, for Title 1 schools. We host a “Stuffing Event” to involve the local community and volunteers. During the event, these backpacks are stuffed with
folders, pencils, crayons, notebooks and even headphones and calculators.
